About Me
My name is Elena, and I just graduated in May (2010) from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Psychology and Education and a Spanish minor. I love to travel, and that is how I got into this long-distance situation in the first place! If you want to learn more about that, check out the "My Long Distance Love" tab above. I also enjoy learning languages, so dating my boyfriend has been a great excuse (and motivation) to learn Portuguese. I'm now back home in New Jersey, working as a Nanny for a family with three adorable kids. It's a daily challenge and exhausting too, but so much fun! And it definitely never gets boring. Besides surfing the internet and following every possible Brazil-related blog, I like to spend time outside, and have recently taken up running, which I really enjoy. I also love animals and am a vegetarian. Yup, thats always fun in Brazil, land of the carnivores, where they even put meat in the beans!
